Disabling the UAC

How to disable the UAC (User Access Control).

Step 1:
Go to the Control Panel - User Accounts.

Step 2:
Once in User Accounts, go to Enable or Disable User Account Control.

Step 3:
Switch off "Use UAC to help protect the unit".

I have multiple networked AKO devices (Modbus/RS485). What is the right software to communicate with them via a PC?

It depends on the networked devices in question...

Depending on the networked AKO devices:

AKO-5004/5005: For managing and monitoring any device with AKO communications.

SOFTRegis: For managing and monitoring any logger in the CAMRegis range.

The following error message appears when installing the SOFTWARE: '1925 You do not have sufficient privileges to complete this installation for all users of the machine. Log on as administrator and then retry this installation'.

The user does not have administrator authorisation.

Error 1925 appears when the user does not have sufficient permissions to install the software.
Make sure the current user has administrator rights, or right-click on the executable program and select "Run as administrator".
